What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Citizens of the Unixverse! We’ve got an exciting one for you today.

As part of our buildup to OWNED.gg’s launch, we want to dig into some of the fantastic partners and games to be featured on the platform. Today, we’re discussing the MMORTS Web3 game with plenty of potential Pulsar.

Pulsar promises a unique real-time strategy experience for a wide variety of players. During development, the team were inspired by RTS greats like Starcraft and Command & Conquer as well as dungeon crawlers like Diablo. The result is an RTS with deep unit progression offering both PVE and PVP experiences, making it suitable for both casual and competitive players. And, the inclusion of Web3 even adds an intricate 4x economy layer on top.

One of the unique features of Pulsar is its accessibility to both Web2 and Web3 players. Their free-to-play and pay-to-play models cater to different players. To further accommodate players’ preferences, Pulsar offers compatibility with PC, Mac, mobile, and tablets, making it possible to address a wider range of gamers.

Pulsar is even eliminating the high entry barriers traditionally associated with Web3 gaming like being able to play without minting NFTs or configuring a wallet. To take that one step further,  Pulsar offers cross-chain minting and accepts various payment methods, including a variety of blockchains, stablecoins, and credit cards. This eliminates the need for players to have a deep understanding of cryptocurrencies or use specific tokens or exchanges.

The game utilizes blockchain and Web3 technologies in several ways. The in-game currency, $PLSR, is mined from the land and refined into on-chain tokens by using workers and refineries, which are NFTs. New tokens enter the market when miners sell them. Players can also buy resources and higher-level NFTs from other players through the marketplace.

Pulsar breaks up the mining, building, and fighting aspects of the game into separate classes, allowing players to focus on the aspect they enjoy most. The game features a replayable game mechanic that allows players specialized as miners to build drills and go underground to find resources. However, the deeper underground they go, the greater the chance of encountering more dangerous aliens!

The game also offers a unique mechanic where players can join the game for free and play using other players' units on other players' land, but they must pay taxes to the owners. This mechanic aims to bridge the gap between free-to-play Web2 players and Web3 players. Users can start for free, but to trade earned in-game assets, they must connect their wallet. Additionally, some players may decide to start playing on their own land and with their own NFTs to avoid in-game taxes.

To make the game even more engaging, Pulsar offers players the ability to create their maps and missions and sell those experiences. This user-generated content feature will be available in 2024.

Like Pulsar, we believe in finding a balance between traditional (Web2) and Web3 games, a Web2.5 if you will. We also want games to be about immersive, engaging experiences before earning potential and to use Web3 mechanisms only where they make sense.

In that respect, Pulsar makes a fantastic partner and a brilliant addition to OWNED.gg. We also just love the experience of the Pulsar team. They’ve worked on so many outstanding titles in the pastRainbow Six Siege, Metro Exodus and Cyberpunk 2077 to name a few–so we can’t help but be excited.

In summary, Pulsar's partnership with Unix Gaming through OWNED.gg is an exciting one for all. By leveraging Web3 infrastructure, the game is positioned to offer an immersive experience to players, with user-generated content being a significant part of the game's future.
